Jake Beard has been entertaining all his life.  From being the class clown (who got good grades so the teachers couldn’t get too upset) to  engaging 1,000s of visitors while driving the famous Wisconsin Ducks in Wisconsin Dells. 

After High School, in what started out as a love for Elvis, Jake has performed as a tribute to Elvis, with many bands and solo for countless contests, parties and weddings.  To branch out and sing other artists he started singing at karaoke events winning some contests. 

After seeing many different KJs (karaoke Jockeys) run their shows, he realized that karaoke shows didn’t need to be so boring.  As a hobby he started to buy equipment and run some shows at local bars with the flare of being different than all the others out there.  Incorporating props, amusing interaction, games and dance music he made a night out for everyone so the people who don’t like karaoke could still enjoy an evening out with friends.

Jake then branched out to DJing weddings and parties after people saw him at his karaoke shows saying “you should do this for a living”.  The rest is history...

After doing hundreds of weddings and parties he has entertained 1000’s of people.  Jake expanded his repertoire to ballroom dancing after being invited to DJ a wedding 10 years ago in the Dominican Republic.  Wanting to learn the native dance of Meringue, he took lessons before the trip and never stopped taking them. He then expanded to all ballroom dances.  When word got out of his dancing skills, he was asked by friends to teach them how to dance a special song for their first dance at their wedding.  He now offers this service for FREE to everyone who books a wedding with him. 

Always wanting to expand his creative juices, Jake has taken up acting over the last 7 years performing in several plays and musicals including the role of “Pharaoh” (go figure) in the musical Joseph and the Amazing Techno Color Dream Coat.  Jakes latest endeavors include, emceeing for many benefits and events along with doing voice overs for commercials on radio and TV.
